Michiel Cornelis Frackers

While still in college in the Netherlands, Michiel Cornelis Frackers started Planet Internet, which would become the largest internet service provider and most popular website in the country. After selling his shares to Royal Dutch Telecom KPN in 1997, he has invested in and established several technology companies with what he calls ‘various degrees of success', while taking a strong interest in fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among startups, multinational corporations and government institutions. Michiel is currently chairman of Bluenote, a leading blockchain solution to build a zero emission world and based in Singapore. He writes a weekly newsletter about technology, blockchain and entrepreneurship on LinkedIn and Medium. Michiel has presented at many leading technology and investor conferences around the world, including Techcrunch Disrupt in New York, SXSW in Texas and the World Economic Forum in Davos.
