Valerie Lim

Valerie is currently the Regional Head for IoT Tribe in Asia Pacific, responsible for launching and growing the APAC business, as well as overseeing the regional operations and team. She is responsible for curating and managing tech acceleration programmes and strategic initiatives that drive the disruption and adoption of next-generation technologies, as well as fostering strategic partnerships to grow the ecosystem and the business. Valerie led the IoT Tribe Deeptech Accelerator and London Tech Calling Programme under the Global Innovation Alliance initiative of Enterprise Singapore and Singapore Economic Development Board which support the growth and market expansion of startups, scaleups and SMEs. She is also a core part of the founding team for the Net Zero Tech Alliance set to be launched in 2022. For the past 10 years, Valerie has been working at the intersection of corporates, government agencies, investors, startups, SMEs, R&D institutions and other stakeholders across industry verticals worldwide, and has a track record in building ecosystems and curating programmes that deliver value for partners. Prior to IoT Tribe, Valerie worked at Terrapinn, where she launched and grew key ecosystems and trade shows mainly in energy and transportation, connecting thousands of stakeholders globally to the latest technologies, investments, commercial and partnership opportunities. Valerie has a Master of Business Administration jointly conferred by IE Business School, Spain and Singapore Management University.
