Hector Melencio

Hector Melencio is the Assistant Vice President of the Information Technology Department and Deputy Data Protection Officer of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR). PAGCOR is a 100 percent government-owned and controlled corporation mandated to regulate, operate, authorize and license games of chance, games of cards and games of numbers, particularly casino gaming in the Philippines.  

With more than 20 years of experience in gaming, sales and marketing, process improvement, project management, data analytics, business development, corporate communications, and employee engagement, he plans, implements and delivers data-driven solutions across all his roles and responsibilities. As the head of PAGCOR's IT Department, he spearheads various projects and programs designed to help drive the corporation become more effective and efficient. Moreover, he is responsible for the overall strategic planning, management, research and development of the corporation's network communications and infrastructure, systems development, information security, management information services. 

Hector holds Law and MBA degrees. He previously worked for Intel, Globe Telecom, Atlas Copco and Banco de Oro.
