Nicolas Paris

Nicolas Paris is the Chief Data & Technology Officer of Aboitiz Data Innovation (ADI) and the Head of Data & Technology of Union Bank of the Philippines’ (UnionBank) Data Science and AI Unit. He plays a critical role in advancing ADI and UnionBank’s move towards operationalizing their Data Science and Artificial Intelligence products.

Nicolas has over 18 years of experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Software Engineering, having recently built a state-of-the-art cloud data platform in a startup. He guides his teams in solving all the pain points that come with using Machine Learning (ML) to drive business outcomes, setting best practices for successful ML projects, and bringing his product mindset to Data Science.

Previously, Nicolas was Chief Technology Officer at Healint, a Healthtech startup, where he and his teams created ML models helping millions of chronic patients improve their quality of life
