Cyrus Cruz is UBX Singapore Country Head & Managing Director, Savings and Insurance UBX. Assured is an insurance platform that virtualizes insurance packaging and experience by delivering multiple protection products from multiple insurance carriers through multiple channels.

Based in Singapore, Cyrus has 10 years experience in the insurance industry working on digital strategy, innovation and partnership distribution. In his previous role, he was responsible for sourcing and evaluating start-ups for collaboration and strategic investment. In addition, he has worked on various digital initiatives across southeast Asia and India with focus on alternative channel distribution, artificial intelligence, and microinsurance in developing markets. He’s worked on partnerships with American express, Grab, and SingPost. Prior to joining UBX, Cyrus was the Deputy Head of Tokio Marine Innovation Lab Singapore. He has been recently hailed with mentorship award by Plug and Play APAC.
