Marsden Hanna

Marsden Hanna leads sustainability and climate public policy as part of the Global Affairs team at Google.  He previously held roles on the energy market development team in the Infrastructure Group, where his work focused on helping the company meet its goal of achieving 24/7 carbon-free energy supply for its operations.  Prior to Google, he was Director of Business Analysis and Strategy at Opower Inc.  He has previously worked in roles at the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Energy.

He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School at Harvard University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Northwestern University.
