Derrick Chua

Derrick is obsessed with helping customers go fast in delivering valuable software to their customers because that makes things great for everyone. He has been working on modern application architectures, development methodologies and cloud platforms for the last few years; and has joined MongoDB in August 2020 to help developers working on modern applications to work more productively with data and to help database engineers move into the new world of operating distributed systems at scale. Derrick was first and foremost a developer and remains fascinated at how software has been solving the world’s problems.
