Sergey Gugkaev

Sergey is a space industry executive leader and currently Chief Commercial Officer at ClearSpace. ClearSpace is a Swiss newspace company addressing practical solutions of space debris problems and in-orbit servicing. Sergey is responsible for ClearSpace`s commercial strategy and business development to promote sustainable space economy, responsible space operations and in-orbit servicing of the future. Prior to ClearSpace, Sergey was Chief Executive Officer at Sea Launch, multinational satellites launch company founded in 1995 using a former mobile/floating oil drilling rig for equatorial launches to geostationary orbit.  Sergey drove the company in a post-restructuring period with 5 successful launches performed under his leadership. Sergey holds a law degree as well as an MBA in Management of Technology from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL).
