Dr Hee Hwang

Hee Hwang, CEO of Kakao Healthcare, is focusing on building a mobile-based digital healthcare ecosystem. He is planning to expand the business not only in the domestic market but also in the US, Japan, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. As a representative digital health care expert in Korea, he served as a professor at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, Division of Pediatric Neurology, Department of Pediatrics, and senior vice president of EMR company, ezCaretech. In 2019, he was selected as one of the 50 Digital Healthcare Innovation Leaders by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and was inducted into the Healthcare IT Hall of Fame by the HIMSS Asia Pacific 2016.
