Melin Lim

Melin is the Senior Director of the Urban Food Solutions Division in the Singapore Food Agency, which is the national authority entrusted with the mission to ensure and secure a supply of safe food. Her team oversees and drives the development of technologies and innovations for tropical urban agriculture, aquaculture and food technology. Beginning her career in the agency (at the then Primary Production Department), she joined the R&D and field advisory team in vegetable production. 

She honed her expertise in controlled environment hydroponics, protected cultivation and good agronomic practices while overseeing the Horticulture department. Later, she held positions in the then Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority leading organisational development and corporate resource management portfolios before leading the UFS team in SFA.
