Akanksha Batura Pai

Since graduation, Akanksha has been working in the shipping and logistics sector. She is currently the Head of Strategy and Growth at Sinoda Shipping Agency, Strategy Consultant to Raks International and TransAsia Marine Services, where she spearheads digitisation efforts of these companies and the maritime industry as a member of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Circle of Digital Officers. Akanksha is also Partner at Seamind Blue Ocean, and juggles her many roles as Council Member of Singapore Shipping Association, Goodwill Maritime Ambassador of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and a lengthy list of many other designations with much aplomb. In her words to what she advocates and is already walking the talk: “The future of maritime will be helmed by individuals with not only technical expertise, but also those who possess the ability to adapt to change, think critically, work collaboratively, and embrace sustainability. They are the ones who will drive the industry forward, shaping a more innovative, inclusive, and environmentally responsible maritime sector for generations to come.
