Amine El Ammari

Amine El Ammari is Vice President of Global Business Development at Yahsat’s mobility arm, Thuraya. He has been in the satellite industry for more than 16 years and has held several senior roles in the Aerospace and ICT sectors.Part of his current role is the development and the execution of next-generation satellite programme strategy. This programme commenced in 2020 with the mission to upgrade and enhance Yahsat’s mobility service, Thuraya, which will culminate in the launch of a new satellite manufactured by Airbus in 2024. The programme also consists of the deployment of new broadband and IoT services for users across land, sea and air.Prior to his current assignment, Amine held different commercial roles wherein he was tasked with developing market access and partnerships with MNOs, Services Partners and Regulators. Before joining Thuraya, Amine was a partner in a consulting firm, where he provided solutions for large organizations including Government, Oil and Gas, Automotive, Retail and FMCG amongst others.Amine is an alumnus of Harvard Business School. He holds an MBA in International Business from Ecole des Ponts Paris Tech, France and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from AUI University in Morocco.
