Siddartha Butalia

Sid is the head of hardware and design at igloocompany, the leading access management company that creates smart locks and lockboxes for the easy management of homes, properties, and infrastructure. He oversees product development, design and the creative direction of the organization with a strong focus on innovation and thoughtful design. 

Sid has over 14 years of experience under his belt and is an award-winning product specialist with rigorously tested foundations in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering and New Product Development. Prior to joining igloocompany, he has designed products across a myriad of industries including IoT products, air purification systems, smartphones, home appliances, microscopes and more. 

Previously, he was the Engineering & Design Director at TransfeFi. Sid’s personal joy lies in how form, function and communication must be interwoven successfully to create something that will delight consumers. He strongly believes that true value transcends time and trends. Sid earned his Master’s Degree in Integrated Innovation for Products & Services from Carnegie Mellon University.
