Yaryna Shurta

Yaryna Shura a specialist in Climate and Sustainable Development Policies. She is serving as a Climate Consultant at the UN (United Nations) Department of Economic and Social Affairs, working on methods and practices for synergistic implementation of climate and development goals. Previously, she worked at the UN Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, where she led the analysis of the impact of climate change in humanitarian contexts.  

Ms. Shura has worked for and volunteered in various national and international organizations, building networks, and implementing projects for knowledge exchange on climate change and sustainable development.  

Ms. Shura holds a master’s degree in Global Policy Studies from Rutgers University, New Jersey, and a bachelor's degree in public administration from the University of Padua, Italy.
