Jessica Tan

Ms. Jessica Tan is currently the Co-CEO of Ping An Group (the “Group”), overseeing the Group’s technology and healthcare businesses. She sits on the Group’s Executive Committee and Investment Management Committee, supervises over 30 subsidiaries, and is in charge of seven of them. In Ms. Tan’s nine years at Ping An, the Group grew from the world’s 30th largest financial conglomerate into the 2nd, serving 647 million online users and 227 million financial customers. Moreover, Ping An made major strides in technology and innovation. The Group has filed over 38,000 patent applications around the world, ranking 1st in AI, fintech and digital healthcare sectors globally.

Ms. Tan serves as a member of several government advisory committees, including a global director of the Institute of International Finance (IIF) and a member of the International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics (the Geneva Association). In 2021, Ms. Tan was ranked 6th on the World’s 50 Greatest Leaders list by the Fortune magazine.

Before joining Ping An, Ms. Tan served as a global partner at McKinsey & Company. She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science and two bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics respectively.
