Wolfgang Dierker has assumed the role of Head of Global Government Affairs & CSR at SAP as of February 1, 2025. He is an esteemed professional with an impressive 20-year career in government affairs across Germany and Europe. Before joining SAP, Wolfgang held numerous leadership positions, including General Manager of Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA) at Microsoft, Managing Director of Policy & Strategy for Apple Germany and Austria, and a 10-year tenure at General Electric (GE), where he was responsible for Government Affairs in Germany and Austria and also handled Digital Policy for Europe. Wolfgang began his career at the German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications, and New Media (BITKOM), where he established the association’s economy and innovation policy department.

He studied history, economics, and political science, earned a Ph.D. in contemporary history from the University of Bonn, and lectures at the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Berlin. He lives with his family in Berlin.
