Dr Nasser Mohammed Al-Fannah currently serves as Acting Deputy Director General of the National Centre for Space, Advanced Technology, and AI, and as Director of the Technology Programs Office at the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, where he oversees the implementation of the National Program for Digital Economy. He previously held a faculty position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, and remains active in research and peer review in the fields of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence. With nearly 20 years of experience in Information Technology, Dr Nasser has worked across the private sector, academia, and government. He holds a PhD in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and several professional certifications from organisations including Google, EC-Council, and CompTIA.
