Marion Carré is an entrepreneur, teacher, speaker, author, and artist exploring the intersections between art and artificial intelligence through her diverse roles. She is the co-founder and president of Ask Mona, a pioneering company using AI to enhance access to culture since 2017, working with world-renowned institutions like the Louvre, the Centre Pompidou, and the Colosseum.
In 2023, she was appointed to the French Ministry of Culture’s Strategic Committee for Generative AI in the cultural sector. She also contributes her expertise as an evaluator for the European Commission and within the digital college of France 2030.
Since 2019, Marion has taught a course on art and AI at Sciences Po and the Sorbonne. She is the author of Who Wanted to Erase Alice Recoque? (Fayard, 2024), Reflections on NFTs in the Art World (2023), and Reflections on Art and Artificial Intelligence (2020), and has contributed to numerous scientific publications.
Her artwork, exhibited in France and Scotland, explores the impact of new technologies. Frequently invited to speak internationally, Marion shares her insights on AI and creativity. A strong advocate for knowledge sharing, she supports young talents and serves as an ambassador for French and international cultural initiatives, including the French Touch.
Her distinctions include Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters, Forbes 30 Under 30 (France & Europe), Blooloop Top 50 Museum Influencer, and the Medal of Honor from the City of Paris.
