Mei Hui is the President of the Cybersecurity Chapter at the Singapore Computer Society. She is also an adjunct lecturer at Singapore Polytechnic, and has taught Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at the School of Computing. Other than her expertise in AI and cybersecurity, she is also in active in the legal industry. She is a teaching assistant at SMU for Cross-Border Mediation, and a research assistant at Singapore International Dispute Resolution Academy (SIDRA). Mei Hui is also an Accredited Mediator with Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI). She is currently pursuing her Master of Laws (LLM) at Singapore Management University.Previously, she was Director at Tencent and earlier, Cybersecurity Specialist in GovTech. Mei Hui was part of the team that designed, built and ran the cybersecurity operations in the Whole-of-Government (WOG). Prior to GovTech, Mei Hui was from PriceWaterhouseCoopers Singapore and Deloitte Singapore, specialising in governance, compliance and architecture of Security Operation Centres (SOC). She majored in computer vision and machine learning and has a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) from National University of Singapore, and Minor in Business (Technopreneurship) from Tsinghua University.
