Nick Almond is an accomplished senior executive with a record of success in commercializing and scaling new ventures in media/entertainment and education globally.

Nick is currently the Chief Operating Officer and a Board Member at CreatorUp. Based in Los Angeles with offices worldwide, CreatorUp is a leading provider of digital media content for businesses, educational institutions, and organizations of all sizes. Its services include all types of content production, for live action, live-streaming, animation, immersive experiences, and generative AI. CreatorUp is transforming how we order and create content via the CreatorUp Store [an eCommerce marketplace of more than 900 content solutions], a global network of 8,000+ creators, and the Daisy generative AI platform.

Before CreatorUp, Nick built and managed the Digital Media Group for Kaplan as Vice President & General Manager of Digital Media. The venture has been highly profitable since its inception and continues to experience significant growth, in part due to record-setting customer satisfaction levels and learning outcome metrics.

Prior positions include senior leadership roles at Citigroup (New York), The Walt Disney Company (Los Angeles), and Time Warner (Hong Kong).

Nick received a B.A. (Hons) from The University of Stirling, Scotland, U.K., and an M.B.A. from The Anderson School of Management at The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
