Bala is Eutelsat OneWeb’s Vice President for Southeast and East Asia, which is a high-growth region for OneWeb. Low Earth Orbit satellite connectivity is a key option, particularly to extend existing networks into harder to reach locations, for governments and mobilty industries such as aviation and maritime.

Over the years Bala has worked with local mobile and fixed line operators to forge mutually beneficial partnerships that aim to improve the value proposition to the end customer.

With over 25 years of experience in strategy and business development in satellite communications in the Asia Pacific region, Bala leads Eutelsat OneWeb’s Sales, business development and Market Access efforts in the region. His previous experience includes senior regional positions at Inmarsat, PLDT and Asia Cellular Satellite.

Bala is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds an MBA from Henley Business School in the UK.
