Dr Mark Shmulevich is Managing Partner at Aloniq, a private vehicle he founded in 2021 to support early-stage deep-tech companies spanning space technology, clean energy, cybersecurity, AI, and other frontier domains. Earlier, he set up one of the first international satellite-navigation joint ventures and served as COO and Chief Strategy Officer at Acronis, a data protection unicorn company, departing before its later private-equity acquisition. Mark has also held CEO/COO roles in high-growth AI scale-ups. Besides Aloniq, he leads the Zimin Institutes research commercialisation studio network and serves as board member or advisor of the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART) Innovation Centre, SGTech, and SSTL. Mark holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and has called Singapore home since 2014.
