Didi Gan is the founder and CEO of N&E Innovations, a Singapore-based company creating sustainable solutions from agricultural waste. Her mission is to tackle global challenges in food safety and plastic pollution through nature-inspired innovation.

At the heart of N&E’s work is Vi-Kang, a patented antimicrobial technology developed from cashew nut waste. Vi-Kang is used in post-harvest fruit protection and eco-friendly packaging materials, offering a biodegradable, non-toxic alternative to conventional plastic coatings and wraps.

Didi’s approach combines scientific research with practical application, and she is committed to building scalable, impact-driven solutions that benefit both people and the planet. Under her leadership, N&E Innovations has partnered with research institutions and industry players across Asia and Europe, advancing the circular economy and sustainable agriculture.

She is a Cartier Women’s Initiative Fellow, and a passionate advocate for women in science, entrepreneurship, and climate action.
