Mark has led Gentree, a USD 90 million early-growth venture fund based in Singapore, since Q4 2020. Under his leadership, the fund has committed over USD 61 million across 25 actively managed portfolio companies.

Gentree focuses on investing in Southeast Asian companies from the Seed to Series A stages. Backed by a prominent Philippine business family, the fund invests across the region while maintaining a Philippines-centric approach to its investment mandate. Gentree actively leads or co-leads financing rounds across Southeast Asia, providing portfolio companies with tools, guidance, and strategic support through active board participation.

Prior to Gentree, Mark launched the Singapore office for Go-Ventures and led coverage for Singapore and Vietnam. He was previously part of Gojek’s Corporate Development team, where he contributed to the acquisition of Coins.ph in the Philippines. Earlier in his career, he worked at TAEL Partners, a Southeast Asia-focused growth equity fund, where he supported investments into family-run businesses across the Philippines, Vietnam, and Indonesia.
