Abel Mengistu is the CEO and Co-Founder of FlutterFlow, which is revolutionizing how applications are developed by combining a visual and AI-assisted approach to bring product ideas to life faster than ever. FlutterFlow has over 1.3M users from all around the world and recently raised a $25.5M Series A led by Google Ventures. FlutterFlow is the second startup with his current cofounder Alex Greaves – their first journey led them to appreciate how traditional methods of development suffered from slow time to market. Abel is a software engineer by background having spent years in the Google Maps Applied ML team. At Google Maps, he applied Machine Learning techniques to improve the quality of the map data. He also worked at the Advanced Technology and Projects (ATAP) lab at Google, applying ML on radar data for touchless gesture detection. Abel graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics from Manchester University in Indiana
