As Assistant Director in the Trade Division under IMDA’s Sectoral Transformation Group, Ren Yuh is responsible for the development of various initiatives to accelerate digital transformation of Trade & related sectors in Singapore, as well as fostering industry partnerships in the pursuit of these objectives.

Ren Yuh has more than 2 decades of professional experience in digital initiatives and projects in the domains of Logistics, Maritime Transport and Trade Facilitation. This includes extensive experience in the private sector, undertaking various leadership roles overseeing business development, product management and project implementation responsibilities in portfolios spanning global markets.

Before joining IMDA, Ren Yuh was Director of Business Development with Bolero Singapore, signing on their first Singaporean Bank for electronic bills of lading. He also led Crimsonlogic’s TradeXchange Business Development team to drive the digitalisation of Singapore’s trade facilitation processes in collaboration with its lead government agency, Singapore Customs. Prior to his joining the public sector, he was in Product Management and Sales roles with INTTRA (a multi-Carrier Portal) and Ebusiness Development (Asia) with Hapag-Lloyd (a Container Carrier).

Ren Yuh holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Systems and certifications in Product Management with Pragmatic Marketing
