As Vice President of Rocket Surgery Creative & Professional Services, Jim leads an elite team of managers, XPression & Unreal artists, as well as developers who deliver cutting edge solutions to a variety of Ross clientele. With the working title of Mission Commander, Jim Doyle is responsible for the long-term strategic development of the company’s Creative Services business, including the ongoing improvements to our people, processes, systems and technology. Jim works closely with the Chief Services Officer and hand in hand with Ross Sales & Marketing Teams interacting directly with customers and business partners.
Doyle has a long history in creating compelling graphics for broadcast and production, building and managing creative services business models, and inventing and implementing efficient graphics workflow tools and processes that have become broadcast industry standard. Doyle previously worked with Media General as General Manager of their centralized graphics operation MGFX as well as NBC Universal as Director of Design. Jim joined the company in April 2015 with Ross’ acquisition of Rocket Surgery Design Services.
Doyle has a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication from The University of Texas, an MBA from Texas Christian University, and a Master’s in Marketing Certification from Cornell University. Jim grew up in small-town Texas near the beach and enjoys his time in the surf, no matter where that beach may be.
