Hwee-Xian (HX), Tan is a Senior Analyst within Omdia’s SOHO and SME Intelligence Service, under the Service Provider Enterprise Service team. He leads Omdia’s global research on SME telecommunications and IT services, with a strong emphasis on market trends and strategic developments across Asia-Pacific. His research supports telecom operators, cloud providers, and IT vendors in understanding and capturing opportunities within the SME and midmarket segments.

His areas of expertise include ICT service adoption, digital bundling strategies, and go-to-market approaches. He provides strategic insights through syndicated research, custom consulting, and thought leadership. HX also leads the development of Omdia’s SME bundle tracker and the global total addressable market model for ICT and SME services.

Prior to joining Omdia, he served as a Senior Analyst at IDC Asia-Pacific, where he managed syndicated research programs and bespoke projects in telecom services and enterprise communications. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology and a MBA.
