As CEO & Chairman of PayPal Pte Ltd and VP, Global Entity Management & Oversight, Aaron is responsible for the governance and regulatory agenda for PayPal’s international legal entity structure. He partners with the business to provide regulatory advice to drive growth initiatives and accountability for the legal entity.

Aaron has over two decades of experience in finance, business development and general management across the industrial and financial services industries. He spent 12 years with General Electric corporate office and GE Capital and has lived in more than 10 cities as an international executive. His roles at GE included being the Corporate CFO for ASEAN, overseeing $5B in orders across the Power, Oil & Gas, Aviation, Healthcare & Transportation businesses, as well as CFO of GE Capital Bank Hong Kong, where he successfully steered the bank through the 2008 global financial crisis.

Prior to GE, Aaron was with automotive interiors leader Johnson Controls, where he led the APAC finance teams across various manufacturing facilities, and successfully negotiated three joint ventures in China and two acquisitions in South Korea.

Aaron has an MBA from IMD Lausanne, a bachelor’s degree in banking and finance from University of South Australia and a CPA from Australia. He is married with two lovely children and devotes his spare time to volunteering; plus being PayPal APAC’s Community Impact sponsor.
