Anowarul Azim is a senior technology leader with over 20 years of experience, deeply rooted in IT & video networking, broadcast engineering, and digital transformation. He currently holds a strategic technology leadership role at Akash Digital TV, the largest digital Pay TV operator in Bangladesh, where he was instrumental in driving large-scale digital transformation of video delivery ecosystems.

A key achievement of his early career was serving as one of the architects of the Sustainable Development Network Program in Bangladesh, funded by the UNDP, which connected rural network villages to the global internet via satellite in 2005.

In 2010, he developed an advanced content management ecosystem workflow, combining MAM, PAM, with adaptive multi-profile content delivery for large-scale television networks and operations across multiple channels, including DVB, IP, and cloud.

In 2016, he played a strategic role in launching Bangladesh’s first satellite Pay TV platform, a project that has since evolved into the country’s largest digital Pay TV ecosystem.

International journals have published his articles on technology and business leadership. His works have been showcased at seminars of global forums, including BroadcastAsia and IBC. He is a member of leading international professional societies, including IEEE and BTS. As an IT graduate and a postgraduate in Business, he has successfully combined deep technical expertise with strategic vision in his career
