Profile
David Webster is the CEO and co-founder of The Carrot Collective, working at the fault line between creativity, technology, and entertainment. Over the past 25 years, he has worked with global brands across markets, witnessing first-hand the slow erosion of traditional advertising models and the growing disconnect between how brands communicate and how culture actually moves.
Today, his work is focused on rebuilding that model from the ground up. Through The Carrot Collective, he operates a distributed, high-performance creative ecosystem designed for speed, specialisation, and cultural fluency, bringing together and orchestrating teams of top-tier talent globally to deliver work that responds to culture in real time, rather than months too late.
He is also a co-founder of AI CREATE, an initiative exploring how AI is not just a tool for efficiency, but a fundamental shift in how ideas are generated, produced, and scaled. His view is that AI will not replace creativity, but that it will completely reshape the economics and operating models around it.
Together with Virtue Asia and Goldfinch International, he recently launched V47 Entertainment, built on a simple premise: that brands should stop interrupting culture and start funding it. By bringing brands into the “writer’s room,” V47 develops original IP where storytelling, distribution, and commercial models are designed together from the outset.
David’s work sits at the intersection of these shifts: helping brands, platforms, and creators move from legacy models of rented attention to new models of ownership, participation, and cultural relevance.
