Dr. Henning serves as Group Chief Information Officer at ASMPT, where he leads comprehensive IT operations across the organization's global footprint. In this role, he oversees critical technology domains including Infrastructure, SAP systems, Teamcenter, Applications, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Cybersecurity, and AI Strategy development.

With nearly a decade of experience leading global IT functions, he spearheaded major digital transformation initiatives including the S4 HANA Transformation, comprehensive Cybersecurity Programme implementation, strategic Cloud migration, and the development of enterprise-wide AI Strategy. His exceptional leadership in technology innovation earned him recognition as a TOP 10 finalist in the prestigious 2023 CIO of the Year Award in Germany.

Dr. Henning built a diverse foundation in engineering and business strategy. His career began in R&D, where he managed complex equipment development projects, before advancing to corporate strategy and mergers & acquisitions roles that provided him with deep business acumen.

Dr. Henning holds a academic background in engineering, having earned his mechanical engineering degree from TU Darmstadt, Germany, followed by advanced studies at UC Berkeley, USA. He completed his PhD at TU Munich, Germany.
