Marcello Brescia is Head of OTT & Edge Ecosystem at HGC Global Communications, where he works closely with hyperscalers, gaming and content providers, and enterprises to design and scale highperformance network architectures. His focus spans cloud onramps, data centre interconnection, subsea and metro connectivity, and edge deployments supporting latencysensitive workloads. Based in Hong Kong, Marcello collaborates with HGC’s international teams across Asia, the Americas, and EMEA.

Prior to joining HGC, Marcello was General Manager APAC at BroadGroup, a member of FTSE 250listed Euromoney Institutional Investor, engaging directly with data centre operators, carriers, and cloud ecosystems through market intelligence, conferences, and advisory work.
