Profile
Tan Too Ping is currently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Changi Airport Group (CAG). As CISO, he leads the Cybersecurity and Digital Governance division to protect and govern CAG’s digital systems, products, and services. Concurrently, he is also the Head of CAG’s AI Governance and Enablement. He was named one of the “Future Ready CISO of the Year” during the Asia Digital Leaders Award 2025 by Spark and one of the “CISOs to Watch in Singapore” by CISO Whisperer in 2025.
Before assuming the role of CISO, he led the data steward team to oversee data policies, processes, and standards to improve data quality, access, and security.
Prior to joining CAG, Too Ping was a Colonel in the Singapore Armed Forces, leading the Operations Research and Analytics Office to develop computational models and provide model- and data-driven insights for business decisions.
Too Ping graduated with First Class Honours in Mathematics from the National University of Singapore and Master of Science degree in Operations Research from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Global Public Policy Executive Training Programme at Peking University.
