He holds more than 50 granted patents in Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, highlighting his substantial contributions to the field.

His collaborative projects have spanned a range of critical issues such as green software, responsible AI, biodiversity, social inclusion, and health. In his capacity as Chair and Co-Founder of the Green Software Foundation, Sanjay oversees a consortium dedicated to reducing the carbon footprint of software. His leadership in leveraging technology for social impact was acknowledged when he was honored as an Eisenhower Fellow in 2017.
Sanjay's educational foundation includes a degree in computer engineering and an MBA, and alumni of Mumbai University and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
