James has over 25 years of experience working at the BBC, Bloomberg and ITV Studios, with a wide background ranging from on-air presentation, programming and engineering to production, distribution sales, and marketing. In 2011, James launched Lightning International as a content solutions company with a focus on creating and distributing TV channels, programmes, and formats. Lightning further strengthened its capabilities by joining the AsiaSat family in 2023. Lightning launched a package of 15 FAST channels in 2019 which are already carried on numerous platforms around the world. These channels are fully curated by Lightning to broadcast standards and are available in Asia and worldwide. They include channels such as Now 70s, 80s and Rock, Action Hollywood Movies, GB News, Pulse TV (Documentary), Pet Club TV, Kartoon Channel, TRACE, Docsville, and our latest additions Newsworld and Globetrotter.
