Dmitry Istomin is the co-founder of 8Hats Lab, an Antler-backed startup building Agent University—a platform that trains AI agents on business domain knowledge so enterprises can deploy them with confidence. With over 15 years in product management and business development across EdTech and enterprise software, Dmitry previously served as CEO of Examus, an AI-powered assessment platform he grew from inception through a UC Berkeley SkyDeck accelerator cohort to acquisition by Constructor Technology. At Constructor, he led business development as VP, building partnerships and expanding into new markets across Southeast Asia. His career spans ecosystem building, international sales, and scaling AI products from early stage to enterprise adoption. At 8Hats Lab, Dmitry applies this cross-disciplinary background—assessment science, product scaling, and enterprise go-to-market—to the challenge of training AI agents. Based in Singapore as part of the Antler portfolio, Dmitry is building the infrastructure for enterprise AI that understands the business.
