Emerson Xu is a global ecosystem builder in Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and the low-altitude economy, serving as CEO & Co-Founder of NexAvian, an APAC-based advisory firm supporting governments, industry leaders, and investors in shaping next-generation aviation ecosystems. His work focuses on translating emerging air mobility concepts into implementation-ready strategies through cross-sector collaboration, regulatory engagement, and market activation.

Prior to founding NexAvian, Emerson led strategic business development across Asia-Pacific at Volocopter, where he worked with regulators, operators, and infrastructure partners to advance early AAM deployment pathways and ecosystem readiness. Earlier in his career, he served in Singapore’s public sector, including roles within the Ministry of Transport and Ministry of Defence, contributing to transport policy, aviation development, and logistics initiatives.

Recognized for bridging policy, technology, and commercial realities, Emerson advises stakeholders on scaling advanced aviation solutions across diverse markets.
