With over 15 years of experience in communications, media engagement and business development across Asia Pacific. Haikel leads Third Hemisphere’s growth in Southeast Asia, managing all client relations and business development in the region. Before joining Third Hemisphere, he spent more than a decade at Telum Media, where he led the Southeast Asia business and later took on the role of Head of Partnerships, spearheading strategic collaborations across the region.

He began his career with in-house communications roles at non-profit organisations, building a strong foundation in storytelling, stakeholder engagement and purpose-led communications. Fun fact: his first full-time job was as a cabin crew with Singapore Airlines — a role that sparked his love for meeting people, staying calm under pressure, and really good meal service.

Haikel studied communications and journalism, and has long been passionate about the power of media to shape narratives and build influence. Outside of work, Haikel enjoys running a few times a week and is a loyal (if occasionally frustrated) football fan. He’s always up for a chat about comms trends, media shifts or last night’s Manchester United match.
