Jason is the Executive Director of Artificial Intelligence at MSD, leading global AI science and AI governance functions reporting in to the Chief AI Officer. He co-authored the company’s AI policy and mandatory AI training courses, and his teams are responsible for assessing every AI system in production, and building capabilities in AI assurance, AI stewardship and AI trust and safety.

He contributed to the Singapore’s skills framework for data and AI careers, Singapore’s AI Governance Framework, and Singapore’s AI Ethics and Governance Body of Knowledge. Jason also serves as a representative to the Global Partnership of Artificial Intelligence.

Jason holds Masters of Business Analytics and MBA from Melbourne Business School, a Computing degree from NUS and a first-class honours’ in Business Information Systems and Human Resources Management from Middlesex University. In his free time, Jason enjoys reading, gaming and giving back through ethical AI
