Dr. Sigrid Rouam is the Global Chief AI Officer at EFG Bank, where she spearheads the bank's data and AI transformation journey worldwide. Her remit includes building and maintaining AI infrastructure, establishing robust AI governance, upskilling the workforce, and ultimately delivering significant business impact through Machine Learning, AI, and Generative AI.

Before joining EFG, Sigrid's diverse career spanned Genomics Research, FMCG, and Telecommunications. She successfully established data science teams and led the development of data science capabilities at the Singapore Exchange, Standard Chartered, and Credit Suisse APAC. Passionate about innovation, she consistently introduces novel methodologies to solve complex business challenges.

Sigrid is regularly invited to speak at conferences both in Singapore and internationally. She actively contributes to the start-up community as an advisor and mentor, notably participating in the 2020 Singapore Fintech Festival mentoring program. She has also extensively coached, trained, and guided aspiring data scientists at various career stages, in Singapore and beyond.

Sigrid holds an engineering degree (Hons) in Agronomy, Bio-engineering and Statistics from AgroParisTech, INA P-G, Paris, France (top institute of higher education in life sciences in France), a Masters degree (Hons) in Probability and Statistics from AgroParisTech/ Universite Paris-Sud/Ecole Normale Superieure, Paris, France and a PhD in Biostatistics (Hons) from University Paris-Sud, Paris, France.

Dr. Rouam has received numerous accolades in technology and data, including 100 Women in Tech (2021), World’s Leading Enterprise Data Leaders (2022), the SPARK Asia 200 Digital Leaders Award (2023), the Top 100 Global Innovators in Data & Analytics (2024), the Winner of Women in AI Finance (2024), and the Top 100 Global Data, Analytics & AI Leaders (2025).
