Alain Polgar is Chyron's Senior Vice President of Sales for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions. In his role, he defines and leads Chyron's customer-centric growth. With his company mediaSTRAT, he has helped several companies accelerate their international growth and realign their business models. During his 30-year career, Alain Polgar has held international sales leadership positions with technology vendors such as Thomson, FAST multimedia, Pinnacle and Rohde & Schwarz DVS, as well as service providers and system integrators such as Ascent Media and Red Bee. More recently he has worked in OTT/IPTV and content licensing for companies such as Vubiquity, Pantaflix Technologies and 1o1 Media. He is also involved in industry associations such as IABM, FKTG and SMPTE and is a frequent speaker at broadcast media conferences.
