With more than 30 years’ industry experience, Martin initially worked at the BBC as a broadcast engineer, then later as a manager of technical services. He then worked on a number of broadcast projects, including the Channel 4 move to Red Bee. In 2009 he then joined TSL as solutions manager, architecting systems in response to customer specifications. He delivered projects internationally for organisations including Salford University, Ravensbourne, ITV, GloboSat, Scripts Networks, and MediaCorp. Martin has also provided technical consultancy for MediaCityUK, Ravensbourne, Salford University, Perform, AMT and Media City Kuala Lumpur. In 2016 he joined Gearhouse Broadcast as Systems Integration Manager, overseeing proposals, system design, installation, consultancy, and support. In 2018 Martin joined the growing team at Techex where the company focus is on consultancy, design, supply, commissioning and support of compressed and uncompressed IP based video systems.
