ATxSG 2024 featured insights from top speakers, including industry pioneers from IBM, Google, and Microsoft, addressing topics such as AI-driven digital transformation, the future of smart cities, and innovations in cloud-powered developer experiences. Game-Changing Tech Announcements
ATxSG 2024 served as the launchpad for several national digital initiatives. President Tharman Shanmugaratnam underscored the need for balanced AI governance and international cooperation. Deputy Prime Minister Heng Swee Keat introduced the $300 million National Quantum Strategy, the Green Data Centre Roadmap, and an updated Model AI Governance Framework. Minister Josephine Teo announced Project Moonshot, alongside a $1 billion investment to expand compute infrastructure and AI talent.
Launch of Singapore’s Digital Enterprise Blueprint
Senior Minister of State Tan Kiat How launched the Digital Enterprise Blueprint (DEB) — a national initiative co-developed with industry and ecosystem partners to accelerate digital transformation among local businesses. The DEB focuses on helping enterprises adopt AI-driven tools, scale through integrated solutions, improve cyber resilience, and upskill their workforce. New partnerships with Salesforce, Microsoft, AI Singapore, and AWS were also announced to support SMEs in adopting trusted AI technologies and developing bespoke generative AI capabilities.
