Allen is a Vice President at Insignia Ventures Partners where he handles portfolio and strategic development. Allen was an early team member at Insignia Ventures Partners having joined within the first year of founding in 2018. During his time, Insignia has grown from a maiden fund of US$120m to the latest third fund of US$516m, while the portfolio has grown to 88 companies today. At Insignia, Allen spearheads value creation and strategic development initiatives, having built the portfolio management processes at the firm. He works closely with founders and C-suites to identify strategic priorities and executes with cross-functional teams and other stakeholders of the company. These areas range from corporate development / strategy and FP&A / strategic finance. He was previously at Orbit Startups (FKA Chinaccelerator and part of SOSV) in Shanghai, a leading accelerator in Asia helping local and global startups go crossborder. Allen graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accountancy) and a Minor in Technopreneurship.
