Mr Ken Siah is the Head of Public Affairs for Google Data Centers in Asia. Based in Singapore, he leads Google Data Centers’ political, economic and community engagement across its existing portfolio and new investments in the Asia-Pacific region. A data centre sustainability expert, he is passionate about maximizing energy efficiency and minimizing the carbon footprint of digital infrastructure. Mr Siah joined Google in 2017. Prior to this, he was Deputy Director-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Singapore from 2016 to 2017. He also served as Head of the Political Section in the Permanent Mission of Singapore to the United Nations in New York and Deputy Head of Mission in the Singapore Embassy in Doha. Between 2011 and 2012, he was Special Assistant to the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore. Mr Siah graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in International Relations and History from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2002 on a Singapore Government Scholarship. He obtained a Masters of Philosophy in International Relations from Cambridge University.
