A serial entrepreneur, tech investor, Board member and corporate executive, Mario is currently the founder & Managing Partner of FutureLabs Ventures, a top-tier corporate venture studio & investment firm focused on long-term tech megatrends that are reshaping the world: the emergence of the next 1 billion consumers, climate tech & sustainability, health & wellness and financial services innovation. He brings 25+ years of corporate venture building and tech investment experience and a distinctive track record of building, scaling and investing in over 30 tech start-ups -- many of which have become global players in their fields (including a decacorn). Prior to FutureLabs, Mario was the Managing Partner of McKinsey Ventures AsiaPacific (a $250M AUM CVC) and the co-founder of McKinsey Solutions (venture building arm of McKinsey & Company) which he built and scaled to over 500 team members in Asia-Pacific. Prior to McKinsey, Mario was Managing Director and Board member of Moody's Analytics in EMEA, a risk analytics company that he helped build and scale into a $1B revenue business. He also was an investment banking professional at Lehman Brothers specializing on high-growth and high-tech companies and finally was a consultant at McKinsey in the US in the ‘90’s where he held a number of advisory roles, including helping launch and scale Virgin Mobile in USA.
