Wei Shan Koh

Koh Wei Shan is a Director at the Sustainable Impact Accelerator, Asia’s first VC-backed accelerator for socially impactful enterprises. This accelerator is powered by Quest Ventures and the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise, raiSE. Wei Shan also leads the Strategic Communications team at the Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise, raiSE. She works cross-functionally with internal teams, stakeholders, external agencies, and Social Enterprises to create content and craft communications on raiSE’s online (social media, paid social, website, email marketing) and offline (public relations, events) channels to build its brand and raise awareness and support for Social Enterprises. As part of her venture-building work at raiSE, she provides digital marketing-related support for Social Enterprises through conducting masterclasses and 1-1 consultations. Through an attachment, she has also supported a Social Enterprise from the raiSE investment portfolio as a Marketing Manager and subsequently Strategic Growth Lead to grow their online presence for a B2B audience and establish stronger brand & product positioning. Before raiSE, Wei Shan was an Associate at Ogilvy Singapore and worked with local and regional brands such as HSBC Singapore, Hilton Asia Pacific, BMW Performance Motors Singapore, Ministry of Culture, Community, and Youth (Our SG), and SkillsFuture SG on their social media and integrated communications campaigns. She also volunteered her time as the lead of Ogilvy’s CSR initiative to organise staff volunteer sessions, fundraising activities, and working on pro-bono marketing campaigns for Non-Profit Organisations. Wei Shan began her journey with raiSE as a volunteer consultant when she was in Ogilvy, guiding Social Enterprises with her digital marketing expertise at the raiSE MarComms Clinics. As a strong advocate of purpose-driven businesses, she subsequently joined the raiSE team to contribute to the sector in a more sustainable and meaningful manner. Wei Shan graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management, and a double major in Marketing and Strategic Management from the Singapore Management University.
