As the Head of Asia Pacific Public Policy & Regulatory Counsel, Priya is responsible for providing regulatory & policy support to the business in the region. She works closely with internal stakeholders to identify and develop company-wide policy positions for a coordinated advocacy strategy aligned with Verizon’s Global Policy approach. She works with Regulators, Policy makers and trade associations on a range of technology Policy issues. Priya is an experienced attorney who has extensive experience advising clients on a wide range of legal, regulatory and technology issues including the adoption of the digital services delivery models to global enterprises, IT Outsourcing, Data Privacy, AI, ESG & Cyber Security matters.

Priya holds excellent leadership and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and lead in a high-pressure, evolving business environment. Priya also sits on the board of the Verizon Singapore. Outside of the role at Verizon, Priya holds leadership positions at the trade associations. A qualified Attorney & a Company Secretary, Priya holds multiple professional certifications including an Accelerated General Management Program Certification by the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Certified Information Privacy Professional Asia (CIPP-A) IAPP.
