Alina is the CEO and Managing Partner at The Radical Fund - an early-stage VC fund investing in tech entrepreneurs who are rapidly scaling solutions for an inclusive climate transition across Southeast Asia. As a regionally-focused Fund, it has on-the-ground presence across Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand. The full time team is structured to focus on hands-on value-creation and commercialization of climate tech for the portfolio. The Radical Fund invests in Pre-Seed to Series-A ventures across climate mitigation and adaptation sectors.
Alina is also the co-founder of Founders Factory Africa, the pan-African venture studio and VC fund, investing and operating across Africa, with over 65 full time team across the continent. Alina invested in 100+ early-stage ventures in emerging markets, and raised over US$140Million from various LPs and funders including corporates, family offices, foundations and HNWIs.
Prior to FFA, Alina led corporate partnerships at gender-focused impact accelerator, SPRING, which scaled over 75 tech ventures in 9 countries across East Africa and South Asia. Alina has also spent seven years at the World Bank Group, with a focus on the Bank's Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR).
